Affirmations are propositions in which something is affirmed or stated as being true. In LSC, it is essential to take into account facial expression, although we can also use the signs representing affirmation.
The basic structure of an affirmative sentence is linked to the type of action carried out by the verb. Thus, in some situations the verb’s semantics determine the position of the direct object. The position of the object in relation to the verb depends in part on whether the action is carried out on an object which already exists, or if the object “appears” as a consequence of the action expressed by the verb. Therefore, we must distinguish between two types of syntactic orders:
Object + Subject + Verb (affected object)
Example 1: [TABLE I CLEAN] I clean the table. Example 2: [PHOTO PRO1.SEND] I send the photo.Subject + Verb + Object (executed object)
Example 1: [I DO CAKE] I do the cake. Example 2: [I BUILD HOUSE] I build the house.
